About the Course
Pilgrimage is a journey to a sacred place or site that holds spiritual significance for individuals, groups, or a particular faith tradition. It is a tradition that has been practiced for centuries across different cultures and religions, including Christianity, Islam, Judaism, Buddhism, and Hinduism.
The purpose of pilgrimage varies from person to person and from religion to religion. Some people undertake a pilgrimage as an act of devotion or penance, seeking spiritual renewal, enlightenment, or forgiveness. Others may undertake a pilgrimage for personal growth, self-discovery, or to connect with a particular community or tradition.
